The Zoom H1, a Rotolight and a new job.

It’s late and I fee like blogging. I haven’t blogged for a while – things have been busy, but I’m now over the hump of a week of technical unemployment before I start my new job on Monday. More on that later, but a long story short, I’m off to a new start-up agency to be their bright eyed, bushy tailed Creative Technology Director. Pow.

As for the Zoom H1 and the Rotolight as mentioned in the title – these are on order from Amazon. I’m feeling giddy like a schoolgirl waiting for them to arrive. If you don’t know what they are; the Zoom H1 is a small but mighty microphone, and the Rotolight is a plastic circle with 42 bright white LEDs. Both of these objects are pretty great. I may even go as far as to say for any creators of visual/audio content, they’re a necessity.

BONUS WORDS: Codecademy have just released a new course on the programming language Ruby. If you haven’t been over there yet, you’re missing out on a wealth of free knowledge that really one of the best resources around for self-learning code.
