This is quite astounding for a bank… A while back I posted about the first direct Buddy videos where ‘buddies’ came out of wherever they came out of and buddied up with a random member of the public and did something that friends should normally do for them, for example, wish you a Happy Birthday or just generally cheer you up.
The campaign wasn’t just a passing fad trying to build up some credibility for their customer service because first direct have actually been voted the top for that out of 75 big UK brands. Imagine that, a bank with excellent customer service, superior to supermarkets, retailers, broadband and electricity/gas providers. Kudos to them, glad they beta tested it first!
